Update April 2012
HBLearning has been extensively updated to reflect the Housing Benefit legislation changes introduced with effect from April 2012. All of the course material, examples and quizzes include the April 2012 uprated applicable amounts and income levels, as well as the increased non-dependant deductions.
The course material has also been enhanced to include the new Tax Credit changes that take place from April 2012 (namely the increase to the number of hours couples with children are required to do in order to qualify for Working tax Credit, and the removal of Working Tax Credit for those who qualified by being eligible for the 50+ element).
In order to keep the information up to date, all references to the rules regarding Tax Credits prior to 2005 have been removed.
